WHO ARE BLAKE FOX INTERIORS?
Tara and Adam started collaborating in 2015, staging homes for a prominent real team in Montclair. Our immediate connection stemmed from our backgrounds in NYC fashion and visual merchandising.
In 2020, we launched Blake Fox Interiors and since then, we have staged hundreds of homes across northern New Jersey, receiving enthusiastic feedback.
We are dedicated to sharing staging expertise and showcasing each property through our unique approach to home staging.

Tara Thompson
CO-OWNER & LEAD STAGER​
Tara Blake Thompson is originally from Bloomington, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising, and started her career in the Garment District. Her love of fashion and merchandising easily translated into staging, where highlighting each home's unique character for perspective buyers, is much like merchandising a retail store. Tara enjoys working out, reading and travel. She is married to Jason, has two daughters away at college, and a wild husky named Roy at home.
Adam Cottrell
CO-OWNER & LEAD STAGER​
Adam hails from Northern New Jersey, where he grew up on a quaint farm in Morris County. After earning his degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology and spending over a decade in retail visual merchandising, he seamlessly transitioned into home staging. Adam enjoys practicing yoga daily, cherishes moments with his dog, and loves gardening with his father and brother. He is also a proud ginger, reminiscent of a fox.
